Quinte Exhibition and Raceway is located in Belleville, a city of about 46,000 at the centre of a much larger market area known as the Quinte Region (population 173,000). A secondary market area extends from Durham Region in the west to Kingston in the east and Bancroft in the north.

Belleville has a diversified economic base and a thriving tourism industry:

  • $55,200 average household income
  • 2.75 million tourists per year
  • Tourism spending estimated at nearly $260-million
  • Approximately 40,000 vehicles pass the 401 exit daily

Significant growth is anticipated for Belleville - the city's economic development strategies have contributed to attracting new business, and residential development activity is up 300% from three years ago. The city offers a promising economic environment for the Quinte Exhibition and Raceway, which will primarily rely upon local support and secondarily upon tourism.
