TORONTO, ONTARIO – September 11th, 2008 – Baymount Incorporated (the Company or “Baymount”) (TSX Venture: BYM) announced today that the site mobilization for the new Quinte Exhibition and Raceway in Belleville, Ontario, has commenced at the Company’s Bell Boulevard location.
“As promised, site mobilization for phase one is starting on schedule,” said Graham Simmonds, President and CEO of Baymount Incorporated. “We are committed to following our construction time table that will allow us to open the first phase of our facility in early 2010.”
The Company, in partnership with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG), held its groundbreaking ceremony on August 28th. Over 75 people attended the event including Belleville Mayor Neil Ellis, local MPP and Minister of Agriculture Leona Dombrowsky, OLG Executive Director of Gaming, Jerry Rozeluk, Ontario Racing Commission Chair Rod Seiling, and area horsemen.
The Company reports that more details will be forthcoming, however at this point is excited to announce this progress. In addition to corporate releases, the Company also reports that continued and more detailed construction updates will be available via the New Q website, which is to be launched later this month.
